MANUFACTURING
Our
20,000 square foot manufacturing facility is fully equipped
to handle both high and low volume production runs. No other
electromagnetic company employs such a broad range of manufacturing
capabilities as Able Coil & Electronics. All of our products
are manufactured at our Bolton, CT facility. Our wire-handling
capabilities range from #6 to #50 AWG. We utilize state-of-the-art
winding and assembly equipment such as:

Over 30 single spindle-winding machines to satisfy small
to mid-size production runs

Three high volume turntable winding stations capable
of winding thousands of coils per day

Many
of our products are assembled in fabricated cases, deep
drawn cans, and custom molded cups, all of which are epoxy
encapsulated. In addition, Able Coil offers thermoplastic
injection coil over molding and insert molding services.
These techniques are utilized to meet various environmental
and military standards. Cables, circuit boards, connectors,
sheet metal, and special brackets can be incorporated to
facilitate drop-in installations.
Our
in-house tooling design and machining operations provide
support for prototypes and short production runs with minimal
lead times.
Able
Coil's insulation systems are in compliance with UL classes
A (105C) through H (180C). Our modern product-quality system
ensures complete conformance to product specifications.
The inspection equipment at Able Coil is calibrated and
traceable to the National Institute of Standards and Technology.
